Group: Prayer Shawl Group
A prayer shawl is created by a knitter, crocheter, or weaver as a reminder to the one who receives it that they are surrounded by a community of faith and by a God who loves them. Prayer shawls may be given in times of celebration (to a bride or new mother) or health challenge (to a caregiver or patient). Our Prayer Shawl Journey group will meet weekly to study, pray, and create. Yarn, shawl patterns, and knitting needles/crochet hooks will be provided. All skill levels are welcome!
