Here at Valley Shepherd, we don't see youth as the church of the future, but part of the church right now. Our youth department seeks to encourage youth to: CONNECT through meaningful relationships; DEVELOP a lasting personal faith in Jesus; Live a lifestyle that HONORS God daily; SERVE others; and REACH OUT to the lost and hurting.

We aim to help students develop these five elements through these different events:
Sunday Youth Gathering
Every Sunday morning from 9:30 - 10:30 am in the Youth Center, we meet to dive into God’s word and learn more about who God is, how we connect with God and what God desires for us to do with our lives. We have a Jr. High class for 7th-8th graders and a High School class for 9th-12th graders.
Wednesday Night Youth Group Gathering
In the Youth Center, we meet from 6:45 - 8:00 pm on Wednesday nights for a time of worship, fellowship, and fun. We play games, sing in worship, and take time each week to look at what God can teach us from the Bible and discussing it together.
Special Events
There is everything from Super bowl parties to retreats. Sometimes they are about having a good time and connecting with one another and other times it is about reaching out and serving those who are around us.
